STSM Welcomes New Board Members Pamela Hardy and Joel Samuels

COLUMBIA, SC—Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands is honored to welcome Pamela Hardy and Joel Samuels to the Board of Directors.

Pamela Hardy is the Corporate Learning Officer at Palmetto Health. Pamela earned a Masters of Science degree in Organization Development from American University and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration from Fordham University. As Corporate Learning Officer, Pamela works with leadership development, organizational development and human resource management.

Joel Samuels is a Professor of Law and the Director of the Rule of Law Collaborative at the University of South Carolina. Joel received his Bachelor's of Arts in politics from Princeton University in 1994 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 1999. Since accepting the position at USC in 2004, Joel has taught numerous classes and written articles on boundary arguments, maritime piracy and civil procedure.

Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands (STSM), formerly named Rape Crisis Network, is a private, nonprofit, United Way member agency committed to providing free, direct services to survivors of sexual assault and abuse, including 24-hour crisis hotline, hospital accompaniment, court accompaniment, personal advocacy, individual and group counseling, and education about sexual trauma issues.
