COLUMBIA, SC - The Board of Directors of Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands (STSM) announces the search for its next Executive Director.

"She has guided the organization during a time of tremendous growth, and we are confident that her skills, experience, and drive will be of great benefit to every organization she serves in the future. We look forward to Mary Dell remaining an active member of our organization's expansive network of advisors. The Board of Directors has formed a search committee and will open a national search to identify the best person to guide STSM into the future."

Mary Dell Hayes has been employed with STSM for more than ten years in the roles of Volunteer Services Coordinator, Director of Development, and Executive Director. During her tenure, Hayes has focused extensively on increasing accessibility to STSM services by guiding the opening and expansion of offices in Newberry, Sumter, Clarendon, and Lexington Counties.
