Sexual Trauma Services Announces Board Member of the Year

Columbia, South Carolina May 24, 2011 – Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands (STSM) announces the recognition of Jason Bradley, Associate General Counsel for BlueCross BlueShield of SC, as Board Member of the Year.  Bradley was chosen for his outstanding work as a board member over the past year.  He serves as the Chair for both the Governance Committee and the Board Development Committee.  Bradley has been integral in recruiting new members for positions on the STSM board as well as promoting the purpose of the board.

As a board member Bradley has been instrumental in the development of relationships in the faith based community for support and partnership for services. Bradley joined the STSM board in July 2008, has served as Vice President for the past year, and is gearing up to transition into the role of President for the upcoming year.  Current President Cheryl Bullard, Chief Counsel for Health Services at DHEC, said “Jason is passionate about the STSM mission and that shows in his leadership within the board and the community.  I was honored to serve with him on the executive committee and am excited to be passing on the presidency to such devoted and capable hands!”
