Rotary supports sexual assault services

COLUMBIA - Columbia’s Rotary Club of the Vista Night (RCVN) is partnering with Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands (STSM) on June 14, 2011 for RCVN’s 14th annual wine tasting and silent auction. This signature event will be held at Canal and Senate, overlooking the Gervais St. Bridge and Congaree River, and will feature over 100 wines available for tasting, as well as hors d'oeuvres and live music.

This year’s auction proceeds will benefit Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands, which offers free, direct services for survivors of sexual assault and abuse in Richland, Lexington and Newberry counties. RCVN has raised more than $100,000 for local charities over the past 12 years. For more information, contact Bill Coggins with RCVN at (803) 413-0446 or STSM at (803) 790-8208. Tickets may be purchased from any member of RCVN or staff at STSM.
