Record turnout and fundraising for 4th annual Walk a Mile

The 4th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes in Columbia, S.C., was a tremendous success, thanks to YOU.

Because of you - sponsors, walkers, volunteers, and cheering spectators - we literally stopped traffic on April 18 to raise awareness about sexual violence.

Approximately 700 men and women registered this year, setting a new record and helping raise more than $22,000. One hundred percent of these vital funds will go toward supporting survivors of sexual assault and abuse and helping prevent sexual violence in the Midlands.

On behalf of survivors and the STSM staff and volunteers who work 24-7 to serve this community, THANK YOU.

You can visit our website to check out the Walk a Mile photo galleries. On Facebook? We've got pictures galore here and here.

If you have photos you'd like us to add, please send them to dc@www.stsm.org or tag us on Facebook. Thank you!
