Elizabeth Fulford

Legal Advocate

Elizabeth who goes by "Liz" became STSM’s Legal Advocate in June 2018. As the Legal Advocate, Liz provides support to survivors and their families while navigating through the criminal justice system, provides accompaniments to court/hearings/solicitor office/police departments/forensic interviews, and provides resources surrounding civil matters. Liz is also trained to provide Sensitivity training to local Law Enforcement Agencies upon request. Liz is passionate about working with survivors and having the opportunity to support them as they find healing on their journey.

Liz comes with a variety of education and knowledge about the Criminal Justice Field. She earned an Associates Degree in Public Service from Florence Darlington Technical College in 2007, a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Limestone College in 2009, two graduate degrees from Capella University a Master of Science in Human Services in 2012 and Master of Health Administration in 2016. She received her Class I Law Enforcement Officer Certification through the SCCJA in 2017 while working in Law Enforcement. Liz is also an alumna of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and enjoy spending time with her son and crafting.
