Volunteer Opportunities

Sexual Trauma Services was founded by volunteers more than 35 years ago, and they remain at the core of the agency today. Through a variety of experiences, volunteers can help us reach our vision of healthy survivors thriving in a community free from sexual violence. All you need is commitment, compassion, and willingness to learn and grow. Our staff will equip you with the tools, knowledge, and support you need to be successful.

If you are interested in volunteering, we want to help you find the best fit with our agency, and our application and screening process is designed with that in mind. This also means our volunteer screening process can often take at least couple of weeks, and all volunteer roles also require training that varies in length and frequency.  All volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
