Rape Aggression Defense Training
Maria Yturria from Richland County Sheriff's Department will facilitate this self-defense course on Saturday, April 10 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Columbia YMCA, 1420 Sumpter Street in Downtown Columbia. This course is designed to teach teen girls (ages 15-18) techniques that are designed to empower women and recognize their strength in potentially dangerous situations. Teens and their mothers/female guardians are encouraged to participate (14 year olds will be permitted with guardian participation). Click here to view the flyer about this event.
